About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its newly established Capital Risk Management team. This role is pivotal in building and enhancing the independent second-line oversight framework for capital management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent review and challenge of various capital management activities, including capital adequacy, regulatory capital ratios, capital planning, and stress testing. This is a highly visible position that involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Risk, and the business to shape the governance, processes, and risk standards of the function. Applicants must have a minimum of four years' experience in capital management, regulatory capital, capital planning, stress testing, Treasury, or a related risk function, preferably within a large bank or similarly complex financial institution. A strong understanding of U.S. regulatory capital requirements and capital adequacy frameworks is essential, as is familiarity with CCAR, capital stress testing, RWA methodologies, leverage ratios, and internal capital limits. The role also requires the ability to assess compliance with regulatory capital requirements, evaluate the impact of proposed capital actions, and support the development of the Capital Risk Management framework, including governance, documentation, reporting, and process automation.
