Network EngineerUnder limited supervision, the Network Engineer is accountable for high quality LAN/WAN networks including planning, integration, implementation and support. Provides recommendations and consulting services to senior analysts for project design and strategic initiatives. Assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT security solutions including firewalls, anti-virus solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Investigation of any actual or potential information security incidents. Perform reviews of network security architecture, information security administration and policies. Collaborate with the Infrastructure team in identifying network and system vulnerabilities, and the appropriate solutions to eliminate or minimize their potential effects. Collaborate with staff in the evaluation of new software and hardware systems, particularly as they relate to security.EducationBachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.Experience4 years of progressive responsibility in LAN/WAN networking to include successful design and implementation of LAN/WAN networks.
