BG Staffing is actively seeking skilled and dependable maintenance professionals to join a premier residential and multifamily property team in Columbus, Ohio (43202) . We are looking to hire five experienced technicians who take pride in delivering exceptional service, maintaining high-quality communities, and providing timely solutions to residents and property management teams.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Technicians will participate in an on-call emergency rotation
• Example: On a 5-person team, weekend on-call responsibilities rotate approximately every 5 weeks

Open Positions1. General Maintenance Technician (Multiple Openings)

We are seeking experienced maintenance professionals with a strong background in residential or multifamily property maintenance.

Required Skills:

• Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Electrical maintenance and repairs
• HVAC knowledge and basic diagnostics
• Carpentry and general construction repairs
• Drywall installation and repair
• Interior and exterior painting
• Appliance repair and replacement
• Door, lock, and hardware maintenance
• Preventive maintenance programs
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

2. Licensed HVAC Technician

We are seeking a licensed HVAC technician to support the property's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Requirements:

• Active HVAC license based on local/state requirements
• Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems in residential or multifamily settings
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
• EPA Certification preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills

Note: A valid HVAC license is required for this role. Certification alone does not meet position requirements.

3. Licensed Electrician

We are seeking a qualified and licensed electrician with experience in residential and multifamily environments.

Requirements:

• Active electrical license
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems
• Experience with wiring, circuits, lighting, outlets, breakers, and electrical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

4. Licensed Plumber

We are seeking an experienced and licensed plumber to support plumbing system maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

• Active plumbing license
• Experience with residential or multifamily plumbing systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair leaks, fixtures, drains, water lines, and related systems
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in apartment communities or multifamily housing
• Familiarity with AppFolio property management software (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Uniform & Safety Requirements

All technicians must maintain a professional appearance and comply with safety standards.

Required attire includes:

• Work shirt
• Work pants
• Supportive, slip-resistant footwear
• Composite-toe or steel-toe safety shoes
• Electrical hazard (EH) rated footwear
