MicroStrategy Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a MicroStrategy Developer for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining an established financial technology team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. In the role, this individual will be responsible for developing code using ETL tools such as SQL and MicroStrategy reports as part of a large initiative for Regulatory Reporting automations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial industry within the last 3-4 years. The candidate needs to be a hungry, self-starter individual who is willing and wanting to learn on a growing team. Candidate must have very strong communication skills. This will be a hybrid role 3x per week onsite in Jersey City, NJ.

Skills and Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience working as a MicroStrategy Developer

Extensive development experience with ETL Code and MicroStrategy reports

Strong understanding of Power BI and SRS

Strong SQL programming

Professional-level communication skills

Experience with MicroStrategy Data Labs Capital Markets / Treasury Experience

Data Modeling

Data Partitioning

Performance Tuning

Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture

Experience with MicroStrategy Data Labs
