Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have 2-3 years experience in specialty; open to first-time travelers.
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.

At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes stroke, TIA, seizure, TBI, and mixed Med Tele patients.
Uses heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, and DKA protocol drips; no titratable drips.
Uses GE Apex telemetry boxes with central telemetry monitoring and 2 monitor techs.
Uses BiPAP, CPAP, and HFNC; no vents.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedules are made about 3 weeks in advance; self-scheduling by seniority; shift trades available.
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule; nights are Friday/Saturday.
Holidays work into permanent staff rotation.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
First to float to IMCU (2West) or Med/Surg departments.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission
