What You'll Do:

• Provide diagnostic assessments, prescribe pharmacological treatments, and non-pharmacological therapies for patients with mental health conditions
• Synthesize clinical data to inform diagnosis, treatment plans, and patient outcomes
• Educate patients on medication management and monitor therapy progress
• Order, review, and interpret lab work and reports
• Document patient interactions accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Serve as a resource and advocate for clients, promoting optimum mental health
• Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations

What You Need:

• Required:
• Licensure as an RN and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Iowa
• Certified as a Clinical Specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
• Minimum of three years related clinical experience
• Knowledge of mental health assessments, psychotropic medications, and behavioral health treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred:
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Familiarity with mental health laws and managed care practices
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
