Remote Associate Data Engineer/Analyst

Salary: $92,000 - 118,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a related bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience.
• We look for 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Alternatively, we consider 1.5 years of experience in an Associate Data Engineer role or in data analytics.
• We require experience with Posit/R.
• We require experience with SSIS.

• We work across IT and business teams to build and maintain custom reports and data files from multiple Access databases and tables, helping business owners support decision-making through comprehensive analysis.
• We oversee the creation and day-to-day operation of mission-critical departmental reporting for metric results.
• We design and develop ETL solutions using Toad, SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, or similar tools.
• We translate business needs into data elements in Access databases and other data marts to source, extract, match, and modify data for reporting.
• We create and maintain custom dashboards and data sources in Tableau and other reporting tools, and we extract and aggregate data as needed.
• We prepare reports and presentations that document analyses and help key stakeholders understand the business impact.
• We identify, investigate, and document root causes of trends, issues, and performance gaps, then recommend and implement improvements.
• We perform exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and data visualization using data mining tools.
• We transition existing SSIS ETL pipelines to Posit and R.
