Responsibilities:Perform TIG welding on pipe systems for commercial construction projectsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawingsCut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.Ensure welds meet quality and safety standardsWork closely with project supervisors and field crewsMaintain clean and organized work areasFollow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirementsLift and carry objects weighing up to 75 poundsRequirements:Minimum 2 years experience in TIG Pipe WeldingMust have own basic hand toolsMust Pass a Welding TestOSHA 10 OR 30 PREFERREDWork at heights as requiredComplete tasks as assigned by the site supervisorPerform all tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervisionMust be able to follow both verbal and written instructionsComplete all assignments requiring physical activity for a full shiftWork all hours assigned.Must be authorized to work in the United StatesMust have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportationMust pass drug screen and all required background checks.What we offer:Medical insuranceVision insuranceDental insuranceAll employees must have proper PPE hard hat, work boots, safety vest, safety glasses and work gloves.All SLS employees are required to comply with our Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment.
