Implement physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility and alleviate pain. Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercise programs. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Collaborate with the patient's healthcare team to create the best plan to reach optimal results. Document patient care and treatment in compliance with medical standards and regulations. Recommend, as appropriate, products and services to help improve patient's dysfunction and encourage healthy lifestyle habits. Assist in education and training of staff and students, as needed. Qualifications Must meet and maintain New York Licensing requirements Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology Proficient in medical terminology and patient care Experience in discharge planning and developing care plans HIPAA Compliance Training Reliable transportation to and from work Experience in outpatient setting is preferred, however, a history of diverse settings is also welcomed. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
