On-Call Podcast Producer

Offering a remote contract opportunity, the On-Call Podcast Producer will provide podcast production and newsletter writing support to city teams on an as-needed basis, typically filling staffing gaps for assignments ranging from one week to three months. Key responsibilities: Produce engaging editorial content for podcasts, newsletters, and social media Generate timely pitches for daily podcast and newsletter content Edit podcast episodes and produce ads for inclusion in episodes Required qualifications: 3+ years of experience creating and/or editing editorial content Experience in a deadline-driven editorial environment Excellent writing skills with a clear, engaging voice Familiarity with Descript or willingness to learn Must be located and authorized to work within the United States
