Associate Underwriter

Supporting the underwriting team in a fully remote capacity, the Associate Underwriter will assist with evaluating risks for new and renewal customers, facilitate business development, and maintain relationships with independent agents. Key responsibilities Develop positive working relationships with agents through various communication channels Assist agents with quoting and approving new accounts, while processing cancellations, endorsements, and renewals Gather necessary information from agents and insureds to ensure accurate underwriting and quoting Required qualifications Experience in Commercial Lines underwriting or customer service Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience in a fast-paced independent agency setting is preferred
