As a Staff Accountant , you will have the opportunity to be a part of Engrain’s growth and dynamic environment. You will continue supporting full-cycle accounts payable while expanding your responsibilities in the areas of month-end close and financial operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting a fast-paced finance team, contributing to both operational accuracy and strategic improvements. Accounts Payable & Expense Management
- Maintain vendor records and ensure proper documentation (W-9s, 1099s) in Airbase
- Enter and code vendor invoices, ensuring appropriate approval workflows
- Process weekly vendor payments and employee reimbursements
- Reconcile and process corporate credit card statements in compliance with policy
- Monitor AP policies and procedures, identifying and implementing process improvements
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Download and reconcile monthly bank activity
- Prepare and manage prepaid expense schedules for the close process
- Track and record fixed assets and depreciation as part of month-end close
- Support the preparation and processing of customer refunds
- Assist with customer renewals, including early renewal coordination
- Handle finance-related cases in Salesforce, ensuring timely resolution
- Participate in ad hoc reporting, special projects, and audit support
What you offer us...
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and general accounting
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite and Airbase (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort with data management and reconciliations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness and desire to take initiative

- Salary Disclosure for Colorado: annual salary of $55,000 - $75,000 . Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate’s experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
