Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Towson, MD | Cardiac Cath Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, rotating days Monday–Friday | On-call required | 11-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care within a 2-Cath Lab and 1 Hybrid OR unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform and assist with interventional cardiac procedures including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
• Operate and document using equipment and systems including GE Innova IGS, Philips, GE MacLab, EPIC, IVUS, and FFR
• Participate in on-call coverage up to 13 weekdays as needed, 5:00 PM – 6:00 AM Monday–Thursday
• Fulfill weekend on-call obligations, including Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:00 AM (expected 3 weekends per contract)
• Provide holiday coverage inclusive of on-call as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with recent Cath Lab / Interventional scrubbing experience
• Must maintain permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are accepted at a reduced local travel rate — seek details from your recruiter
• Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions; travelers are first to float

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with structural cardiac procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
• Familiarity with IVUS and FFR monitoring
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation system
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
