Job Title: Lead Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Procurement Manager with a Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, along with 10 years of relevant experience. This role requires a professional with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of solving complex problems with a clear and analytical approach. The position demands proficiency in Primavera or Microsoft Projects, and a deep understanding of the administration of construction contracts, including liens and AIA contracts. The successful candidate will manage procurement contracts, purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards. The role also involves managing contract amendments, claims, and dispute resolution processes.

• Serve as a team leader on larger capital projects, acting as the main contact for RFP development, change management, close-out administration, procurement management, and change order/claims negotiations.
• Manage procurement contracts and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage contract amendments, claims, and dispute resolution processes.
• Utilize information technology, including Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project, in the performance of duties.
• Interface with resources within client and project supplier organizations.
• Apply industry best practices for project management, capital delivery processes, and scheduling.
• Address process flow issues and tasks with an analytical approach.
• Work on large capital projects exceeding $500 million.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience in procurement management.
• Proficiency in Primavera or Microsoft Projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills in project and program management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in managing large capital projects (>$B) in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
• Understanding of procurement, project forecasting, development, budget management, change order management, and risk management.

• Quantity Surveyor experience preferred.
• Experience with CAPEX projects.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical construction industry.
• Knowledge of RFP, ITB, RFQ, bid evaluation, procurement strategies, EPCM, contract compliance, change management, and close-out administration.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fogelsville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $135.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
