Description

Due to Eagle Contracting's continued growth and expansion, we are adding an Estimator to our Houston team. In this role you will be estimating projects between $2-30 million. Projects range from Pump Stations, Lift Stations, and Waste Water Treatment Plants. We do both major rehab and new construction projects.

We have a great team and over the next couple of years there will be a ton of opportunity for advancement.

The role you will play:

Prepares and coordinates quantity take-offs
Communicates with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure an understanding of the scope of work
Assist in receiving and evaluating subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
Ensures that we have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
Working with estimating team to strategize final bids

Requirements:

B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
1+ years as an Estimator for a Waste Water Construction Contractor or 3+ years as an Estimator for a General or Civil Contractor.
Must have experience estimating projects over $10 million.
