The Gig Nursing Program does not offer guaranteed shift hours and will be the first for cancellation.Departments Utilizing GIG RNs:Emergency Department (ED)Medical-Surgical (MS)Labor & Delivery (WC)Qualifications:Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programPreferred Education: BSNLicensure: Is responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current compact RN licenseExperience: One year of recent bed-side RN experience to work Med Surg. For all other specialties (ED, L&D, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side RN experience.Certifications: For Med Surg, and Women's Health (L&D) - BLS. For Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS.
