Strong communication skills are essential, especially when working with patients who may feel anxious or when collaborating with the dental team under pressure.Primary responsibilities include:Performing routine and periodontal hygiene proceduresConducting assessments, charting, and documentation with accuracyEducating patients on oral health best practices and treatment recommendationsMaintaining a clean and organized operatoryCollaborating with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flowDemonstrating professional judgment and a commitment to continuous improvementThis position offers consistent weekday hours with no nights or weekends, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.Required QualificationsActive Kentucky Dental Hygiene LicenseCurrent CPR certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain composed and effective in stressful or fast-paced situationsSelf-motivated with a demonstrated willingness to learn independentlyDetail-oriented, reliable, and committed to high-quality patient careQualifications:Current dental hygienist licenseExcellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentationCPR CertificationPreferred ExperienceExperience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systemsDesire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental healthClinical needs as required by officeCompletion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
