Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients and patient care areas. Responsibilities include identifying, preparing, packaging, labeling, and delivering medications—including sterile products—under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required (A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma)

Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required

Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required
