Senior Product Counsel

To support the scaling of SaaS and fintech offerings, the full-time Senior Product Counsel will partner with Product and Engineering teams, advising on regulatory and commercial legal matters while navigating complex financial products in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Partner directly with Product and Engineering teams on new products, features, and changes Advise on product, fintech, payments, and commercial legal questions across Mews' SaaS and financial services environment Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial, product, and regulated-services agreements Required qualifications Significant in-house legal experience in technology, SaaS, or fintech environments Strong evidence of collaboration with product teams throughout the development process Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as EMI licenses and US MTL frameworks Working knowledge of AML/BSA, KYC, and broader fintech regulatory issues Proven ability to balance legal risk with business outcomes
