Veterinary Technician - Emergency

VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley is growing! We are adding an experienced and knowledgeable ER Veterinary Technician to our team as we gear up to extend our hours back to 24/7 after updating and remodeling our beautiful, fully equipped facility!

Location: 22123 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364

Hiring Bonus: $2,000 for qualified candidates

1/2 at 90 days and 1/2 at 1 year

Compensation: $ 23 - $ 35 / hr.

*DOE, education, and credentials.

*Shift differential: two dollars/hr. depending on the shift from 7 pm - 7 am

Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have documented previous experience
• RVT license eligibility is preferred
• Must have emergency experience
• Flexibility in hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Customer service skills
• Working knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of being cross-trained as a receptionist and kennel assistant
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments
