JOB DETAILS Join Our Team and Make a Difference! Are you a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) eager to make a positive impact on patients' lives? We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and enhancing the quality of life for our residents. We're looking for a talented PTA to join our dynamic therapy team in delivering outstanding rehabilitation services within our skilled nursing facility. This position is for PRN with flexible shifts, including weekends. Location: Snow Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Maryland Pay:
- $35.00 - 43.00/ hour based on experience
- PRN
- Day shift
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
- Implement treatment plans developed by our Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle physical aspects of patient care.
