Overview WMBD/WYZZ Peoria-Bloomington, IL area is seeking motivated and enthusiastic college students for an internship in our News Department. We are committed to developing the next generation of media and digital journalists. What You’ll Experience Understanding how news media works across TV, digital, and streaming platforms Receiving constructive feedback on progress throughout the internship Developing content for both online and on-air Learning the importance of collaboration between talent and production teams Gaining professional communication and presentation skills in a media setting Qualifications Current college student pursuing a degree in Communication, Business, Media, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn Allowed to receive academic credit for the internship Available 10-20 hours per week for the duration of the semester Additional Information This internship is unpaid and must be completed for college credit. Candidates should have reliable transportation.
