Description A Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X‑rays, to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. They operate imaging equipment, position patients for accurate images, ensure patient safety, and maintain detailed records. Rad Techs follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process. The role requires collaboration with ordering providers and team members to deliver timely, high‑quality imaging services in a patient‑centered environment. Responsibilities Operate X‑ray machine and capture radiological images Operate PACS system Process charges and related paperwork using computer/EMR as directed Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to radiographic equipment Protect patients and personnel from radiation hazards Collaborate with the ordering provider Ensure radiology equipment is in operating order; report malfunctions to the Radiology Manager or designee Prepare copies of X‑ray CDs for patients, tests, surgery, and physicians as required Assist with the transportation of patients between examination rooms and the Radiology department Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent Associate's degree or higher from an ARRT‑approved program At least 2 years of experience in Medical Imaging Valid State License/Certification Preferred Orthopedic or Sports Medicine experience: 1 year (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
