Your Responsibilities As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are the key component in providing excellent customer service by providing high-quality maintenance services for our customer’s appliances. Primary Responsibilities Diagnose and repair home appliances and equipment. Provide cost estimates for repairs. Effectively communicate with the customer to ensure they understand the services needed. Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials. Collect payment for work performed. To Succeed in this Role Exceptional Customer Service: Show empathy and deliver a great customer experience, accurately diagnosing and solving their problem. Getting from Diagnosis to Solution: Explain what’s wrong and help the customer understand what needs to be done. Quality of Work: Use critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to fix jobs correctly the first time. Efficiency: Complete repairs quickly to respond to all customer needs for the day. Punctuality and Reliability: Be available and show up on time to deliver a great experience. Pride in the Details: Keep your work vehicle clean and organized, and pay attention to detail in reporting. Ongoing Training: Pursue regular training opportunities, researching new equipment and expanding knowledge. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. EPA Type 1 or Universal CFC certification required. Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus. Benefits & Pay The pay range is $60,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Bonuses and commissions are available. Our technicians are usually paid on a daily guarantee to start, eventually moving to a commission structure based on revenue. Top technicians earn well over $100,000 annually.
