Associate Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting tasks including printing checks and posting customer payments accurately timely.
• Receive, record, and reconcile cash payments following established procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor key performance indicators and assist management with accurate financial reporting needs.
• Maintain accounting documentation and support development of best practice process improvements initiatives.
• Provide timely customer service support via phone, email, and written correspondence requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to foster communication, innovation, and strong business relationships internally.
• Utilize accounting systems and technology tools to improve efficiency and accuracy consistently.
• Develop skills and knowledge supporting accounting systems, processes, and continuous improvement efforts.

Skills:

• Accounting operations and financial transaction processing.
• Check printing, cash handling, and payment posting.
• KPI monitoring with analytical and reporting skills.
• Customer service, communication, and process documentation.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum two years general accounting experience.
• associate degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
• Experience printing checks and receiving cash.
• Proficient in MS Excel and customer service.
