Site Development Technician (SDT) Job Location: Ark Encounter – Williamstown, KY 41097 Position Type: Full Time Job Category: Site Development Job Profile Supports the construction, installation, and fabrication of new projects for the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Interacts with staff at all levels in a fast‑paced environment, maintains professionalism and confidentiality, demonstrates strong communication, decision‑making, and attention to detail, and works independently with little or no supervision. Demonstrates the Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when dealing with internal and external customers, consistently portraying the mission of Answers in Genesis, and provides opportunities for spiritual, personal, and professional development. Responsibilities Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis. Create a SERVE culture environment in all work. Approach all tasks with a second‑mile mindset. Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments. Assist with all new projects from start to finish. Maintain equipment and perform maintenance. Keep the project site safe, clean, organized, and orderly. Operate a variety of hand tools and small equipment. Work with metal, wood, concrete, plastics, and stone. Install irrigation systems, drain tile, stone walls, pavers, water features, Christmas lights, and outdoor landscape lights. Perform tree removal. Assist Grounds Maintenance and Greenhouse Operations as needed. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications Agree with and be able to sign the Statement of Faith. Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Regularly attend a local, Bible‑believing church. Work well under pressure, set priorities, and deliver results. Hold a valid driver’s license. Lift 50–80 pound objects, bend, walk, and stand frequently. Perform heavy manual labor and cope with varied weather conditions. Safely handle chemicals that pose health hazards. Operate dangerous power and hand equipment, including heavy excavation equipment.
