About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12-14 week contract Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room; preferred 5-8 years License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required (must be willing to obtain if offered) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in Emergency Room or equivalent size - Trauma Level II or III experience - Experience with adults and children - Previous travel experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The contract duration is between 12 to 14 weeks with a desired end date. Candidates must hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Willingness to obtain certifications if not currently held is required. A minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience is required, although 5-8 years is preferred. The role includes caring for both adults and children. Experience in Level II or III trauma care is also necessary. Candidates must have previous travel nurse experience. Expected responsibilities involve managing a variety of emergency conditions, including trauma, acute illnesses, and severe injuries. Essential skills include the ability to perform procedures such as intubation, IV initiation, and managing ventilated patients. Nurses in this role will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to a diverse patient population. Compliance with all health and safety protocols is mandatory.
