We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our shop operations, support our technicians, and provide an exceptional customer experience. Position Summary The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, dispatching work, managing technicians, communicating with customers, monitoring productivity, ensuring quality control, and driving profitability. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and diesel truck service experience. Responsibilities Manage daily workflow and technician dispatch. Communicate with customers regarding diagnostics, estimates, approvals, and repair status. Review and approve repair orders, estimates, and invoices. Monitor technician productivity and efficiency. Ensure quality control before vehicles are released. Coordinate with parts department to minimize downtime. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Conduct daily team meetings and shop updates. Assist with hiring, training, and performance management. Help grow customer relationships and fleet accounts. Qualifications 5+ years of Service Manager, Shop Manager, or Foreman experience. Strong knowledge of heavy‑duty trucks and diesel repair operations. Experience managing technicians and workflow. Ability to create estimates and obtain customer approvals. Strong communication and customer service skills. Computer proficiency and experience with shop management software. Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate a team. Preferred Experience Heavy‑duty truck diagnostics. Electrical troubleshooting. Fleet maintenance operations. Parts and inventory management.
