RN, Post Intensive Care Unit I Req #: 0000249749 Category: Nurses Status: Part‑Time Shift: Night Facility: RWJ New Brunswick Department: Post Intensive Care Unit‑I Pay Range: $47.85 – $71.72 per hour Location: One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Job Overview The Post Intensive Care Unit‑I on 4 Tower is a busy 30‑bed Med‑Surg/Telemetry Cardiac unit. The unit cares for a range of telemetry, medical‑surgical, and intermediate‑care patients, including those post‑cardiac procedures, sepsis, dialysis, heart failure, and respiratory failure. Essential Functions Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. Maintain knowledge of ethical and evidence‑based practice guidelines. Identify and report safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Demonstrate understanding of the patient population served. Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other providers. Set and evaluate priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes. Use the nursing process to individualize care plans for specific patients.
