A movement for better thinking, smarter solutions and lasting impact.Together, we will advance our way of life and protect the integrity of our environment every step of the way.**A Day in the Life**Our **Project Geologist** position is located in Wilmington, DE.The Project Geologist directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of projects within area of assigned responsibility – Environmental Remediation, Site Assessment (Phase I and Phase II), RCRA/CERCLA/Brownfield Investigations, and Environmental Site Monitoring. The Project Geologist is experienced in managing environmental projects at the field operational level, and supervising field teams and subcontractors managing both the internal team performance and client expectations.The compensation range for this role is **$75,000 to $95,000**, commensurate with experience and skills.To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: * Coordinate and implement field efforts related to environmental investigation including Preliminary Assessments, Site Inspections, and Remedial Investigations.* Perform site visits, field observations, and field data collection related to RCRA, CERCLA, and state environmental cleanup programs.* Coordinate and direct field staff performing sampling of groundwater, soil, and other environmental media* Lead and direct the planning of environmental investigations and provide analysis and interpretation of data to identify data gaps and recommend changes to the investigative approach.* Supervise subcontractors and field personnel performing geophysical surveys, direct push/drilling investigations, and implementation of environmental remediation.* Prepare reports, tables, maps, drawings, and visual aids to evaluate, plan and obtain regulatory approval on project recommendations.* Interface with federal, municipal, and private sector clients pertaining to specific projects/tasks.* Maintain confidentiality at all times* Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs* Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts* Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attend professional workshops* Perform other duties as assigned**Your Expertise and Skills**These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.* Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field.* 5+ years’ experience performing environmental investigations and leading field efforts* Professional Registration (PG) or ability to obtain within one year is preferred* Valid driver’s license, ability to travel and obtain security clearance at federal installations.* Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite.* Knowledge of computer aided software (Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, etc.).* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to present to supervisors.* Organizational skills and attention to detail.* Work environment will vary depending on nature of assigned tasks.* The position may involve travel as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
