Respiratory Care Prac-RRT

As a Respiratory Care Prac-RRT with LifeBridge Health, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients across a variety of acute and critical care settings within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. Drawing on your Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) expertise, you will deliver evidence-based assessment, treatment, and monitoring for patients with pulmonary disorders, cardiac and respiratory compromise, and other complex medical conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members, you will perform thorough respiratory assessments, administer and adjust oxygen therapy, manage invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and deliver aerosolized medications and therapeutic interventions according to established protocols and individualized care plans. You will obtain, analyze, and interpret arterial blood gases and related diagnostic tests, documenting findings clearly and communicating changes in patient status promptly to the care team. In this role, you will actively contribute to rapid response and code situations, assist with airway management, and support safe patient transitions between units. You will educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, equipment use, and home-care techniques to promote adherence, safety, and long-term respiratory health.
