Medical Information Specialist I - Nurse

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Medical Information Specialist I with nursing credentials to respond to pharmaceutical and device product inquiries, manage adverse event reports, and support clinical trials. The role involves analyzing medical information requests, maintaining regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical and medical inquiries via phone, email, internet, and mail regarding pharmaceutical or device products
• Analyze caller questions and formulate accurate responses using approved resources and databases
• Identify, record, and triage adverse events and product complaints per organizational and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with internal and external client contacts to resolve complex inquiries and research medical literature as needed
• Maintain knowledge of project policies, procedures, protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Active RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact equivalency
• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
• Ability to interpret complex medical and technical information
