Title: Virtual Per Diem Therapist (Days)

Reportsto: Directorof Telehealth

Department/Location: Remote (MST)

FLSA Status: Non - Exempt

Requirements:

• Licensure: Must be independently licensed as a therapist in the state of Colorado (LPC LCSW or LMFT).
  • Three years of post-independent licensure experience is highly preferred.
• Group Therapy: Experience providing Group Therapy is required. Virtual Group Therapy highly preferred.
• Setting: Experience working in IOP/PHP settings is preferred.

Schedule:

• Per Diem Expectations: Day shift Per Diem Therapists are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per month and will not exceed 10 hours per week. PRN day shiftsschedule fall between 8:00am-4:30pm MST and are scheduled based on coverage needs. Primary responsibilities will include providing coverage for group therapy; however there may be occasions when individual client support is needed based on client needs and clinical presentation.

RoleResponsibilities/Competencies:

• Conduct psychologicalandbiopsychosocialassessments and evaluations todetermineclients needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including individual group and family therapy.

• Monitor and document clients progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including psychiatrists social workers and medical doctors to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.

• Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.

• Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.

• Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships

• Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates case formulations and questions to support high-quality care.

• Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications

• Amasters degree in psychology Counseling Social Work or a related field.

• Valid Colorado independent licensure (LCSW LMFT LPC)

• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as requested

• If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelights supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.

• Demonstrated experience providingbehavioral therapycounselingandgroup therapy.

• Ability to manage clients effectively in virtual settings including adapting interventions to a telehealth environment.

• Comfort and competence with technology including navigating HIPAA-compliant video platforms EMRs and virtual collaboration tools.

• Strong engagement skills in a virtual space (ability to build rapportmaintaingroup cohesion and intervene effectively when clients disengage).

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn telehealth best practices including crisis response and safety planning in a remote setting.

• Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while stayingclosely connectedto a distributed virtual team .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experiencefacilitatinggroup therapy in an IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting.

• Experience working virtually

• 3 years experience post independent licensure
