Our client, a leading packaging manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily plant operations and drive safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including safety, quality, and productivity
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Production environment
- Experience managing supervisors and hourly employees
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Packaging, plastics, paper, corrugated, or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
