The Production Leader will report to the production resource who will provide direction and guidance for the respected shift. This role will serve as relief where needed and also be responsible to provide back up to the production resource. The Team Leader will coordinate with support departments, such as maintenance and quality; ensure goal alignment and proactive employee responsible for the following but not limited to complete end of shift reporting, updating production schedule when necessary, SAP related activity, lead/coach floor Shift Hand Offs, be and active participant daily ops review and facilitate all other duties as assigned by senior leadership. Responsibilities Inspect product to verify conformance to specifications, direct setups and adjustments of machines. Initiate or suggest plans to motivate team members to achieve production goals. Analyze and resolve work problems, and assist team members in solving work problems. Works with support staff to achieve production goals. Interpret company policies to team members and enforces safety regulations. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Maintain required reports, i.e., time, production, down time, scrap, etc. Responsible for employee performance reviews. When required, perform activities of team members. Monitor material inventory needed to complete production schedule. Available to work weekends and overtime, if necessary. Qualifications Manufacturing experience. Must have knowledge of recording and maintaining required reports. i.e., production, down time, scrap, etc. Supervisory experience a plus. Must be detail oriented, a team leader, and teacher. Computer experience a plus. Excellent oral, written, organizational, and communication skills. Must be forklift certified.
