About the Role

Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery and a strong focus on precision and quality production.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting on equipment
Adjust machine settings to maintain product accuracy
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

Previous experience as a CNC Operator or in a machining environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Strong attention to detail and measurement accuracy
Familiarity with CNC machinery and tools
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing setting
Team-oriented with good communication skills
