Supervisor Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Duluth, Minnesota

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license and certifications, in good standing
• Proven experience working in an ER setting
• Demonstrated leadership or previous supervisory experience within acute care or emergency departments
• Solid assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Oversee ER nursing staff and daily unit operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with protocols
• Provide expert triage, assessment, and treatment to patients with a full range of emergent and acute conditions
• Mentor and support nursing staff, coordinating training and performance evaluations
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and ancillary services to deliver seamless patient care
• Monitor and manage resource allocation, staffing, and supplies to maintain smooth ER operations
• Respond to emergency situations, guiding team response and facilitating rapid interventions
