Modena Ristorante is a premium casual dining restaurant located just outside downtown Marietta, known for elevated service, quality cuisine, and a welcoming guest experience. We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Front of House Manager to join our leadership team and help drive service excellence and team performance.

Position Overview:

The Front of House Manager is responsible for leading all guest-facing operations of the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience while supporting the restaurant’s financial and operational goals. This role oversees the Front of House (FOH) team, including dining room service, bar operations, and guest relations, and is accountable for service standards, staff performance, scheduling, and operational reporting related to FOH functions.

The Front of House Manager works closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless service execution, clear communication between FOH and BOH, and consistent delivery of menu offerings. While not responsible for culinary production, this role requires strong menu knowledge, service expertise, and the ability to support service flow, quality standards, and guest satisfaction at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise the Front of House team, including hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff, to ensure consistently high service standards.
• Oversee daily FOH operations, ensuring smooth service flow, proper staffing levels, and effective coordination with the kitchen and management team.
• Uphold exceptional guest experience standards by actively managing the dining room, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally, and modeling service excellence.
• Manage FOH scheduling, timekeeping, and labor controls to align with business needs and financial targets.
• Oversee bar and beverage service in collaboration with bar leadership, ensuring compliance with alcohol service regulations and quality standards.
• Ensure all FOH staff follow operational procedures, safety standards, and health and alcohol compliance requirements.
• Monitor and report on FOH performance metrics, including labor, service quality, guest feedback, and operational issues.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of FOH team members.
• Maintain strong menu knowledge and service standards to support staff training, upselling, and guest education.
• Collaborate closely with BOH leadership to ensure seamless communication, efficient service execution, and consistent menu delivery.
• Enforce cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance standards throughout all guest-facing areas.
• Support opening, closing, and shift management duties as required.
