Registered Nurse

Responsible for providing nursing care in a float pool capacity. Will work across various medical and surgical units, excluding intensive care. Must possess knowledge and skills in managing various medical conditions and procedures. Demonstrated ability to access and manage ports and administer blood products. Must have experience with central line blood draws and chest tube management. Knowledge of colostomy and ileostomy care is essential. Typically involved in managing patients with cerebrovascular accidents and renal failure. Experience with medication administration, including IV protocols. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and care for patients requiring respiratory support. Capable of implementing isolation precautions and infection control measures. Skills related to wound care and management are necessary. Flexibility to float to different units as needed based on staffing requirements. Ability to work nights and handle the demands of a fast-paced environment is required.
