Insurance Sales Representative

Job Description

At John Fear Agency, we are looking for a driven, competitive salesperson to join our growing team in downtown Lake Charles. This is a high-opportunity sales role for someone who is motivated to win, build relationships, and make great money. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will generate new business, quote and close deals, and help grow one of the top-performing agencies in the area. We offer a strong compensation package with hourly pay plus uncapped commission opportunities.

Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm) Work Schedule

Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new business through cold calling and referrals
Follow up quickly on inbound and company-provided leads
Quote, close, and exceed monthly sales goals
Build strong relationships and provide excellent customer service
Present coverage options confidently and professionally
Ask for the sale and close deals consistently

Requirements

Must obtain a Louisiana Property & Casualty License (if not currently licensed)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented
Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Works well independently and as part of a team
Professional, dependable, and coachable
Driven to meet and exceed sales goals
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
