Are you an experienced  Nurse Practitioner  passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care? Join the  MinuteClinic team in Durham, NC  and make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients!

You’ll work alongside a dedicated clinical care team to provide  evidence-based primary and family care , manage health conditions, educate patients, and help drive better health outcomes.

️ Schedule

• ⏰ 32 hours per week
• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–7:30 PM
• ️ Lunch: 1:30 PM–2:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Works every other weekend
• On-call: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
• Possible holiday rotations

Your Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and routine examinations.
• ❤️ Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Provide health counseling, screenings, wellness services, and patient education.
• Perform diagnostic testing to assist with diagnosis and treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Encourage patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
• Handle patient follow-ups, appointments, insurance verification, and payment collection.
• Support clinic operations, including opening/closing and inventory management.
• Utilize electronic medical systems and technology effectively.
• Practice autonomously while contributing to a collaborative clinical care environment.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified candidates must have:

• Master’s degree from a  Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current national board certification
• Active NP license in North Carolina
• ⭐  Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or Urgent Care
• ✅ License in good standing with  no current or prior disciplinary actions
• Knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and practice autonomously
• Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, adaptability, and flexibility
• Proficiency with information management and technology
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed

  Important:  Candidates without prior  Primary Care or Urgent Care experience  will not be considered.
