The business is a priority area for Baxter’s executive leadership, with continued investment in innovation, portfolio expansion, and strategic growth.We are seeking a Senior Manager, Market Intelligence & Customer Insights to play a central role in shaping how Advanced Surgery understands its markets, competitors, and future opportunities. This role owns market intelligence and competitive insights for the division and combines rigorous analytics with strategic thinking to inform long range planning, portfolio decisions, and business development priorities.This is a high visibility role that sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and storytelling. The Senior Manager will work closely with global Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial teams, and their insights will regularly inform senior leadership discussions. You will join a collaborative, low ego team that values curiosity, partnership, and impact—and you will inherit a strong analytical foundation while helping evolve the function for the future.What You’ll DoIn this role, you will turn complex healthcare data into clear strategic direction for the Advanced Surgery business. You will lead market intelligence, forecasting, and competitive insights while shaping how the division understands its markets and future opportunities.Lead global market intelligence and competitive insights across hemostats, sealants, adhesion prevention, and adjacent surgical categoriesOwn annual global market sizing and forecasting, partnering with regional teams and aligning assumptions with FinanceDeliver biannual market share and competitive landscape analyses to inform portfolio and long‑range planningManage quarterly U.S. market size and growth reporting by integrating SG2, IQVIA, DRG, Premier, and internal performance dataConduct hands‑on Premier analytics to understand procedural trends, product utilization, and specialty‑level dynamicsTranslate complex data into clear, executive‑ready insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadershipSupport M&A, licensing, and partnership evaluations through market sizing, competitive assessments, and scenario modelingBuild compelling narratives and present findings to cross‑functional stakeholders across Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and CommercialWhat You’ll BringExperience analyzing healthcare or medical device datasets such as Premier, SG2, DRG, IQVIA, or similar claims and utilization sources.Strong capability in Excel based modeling, forecasting, and market sizing.Working experience with SAS, R, or SPSS; SQL or Python ​Familiarity with medical coding, procedure based analytics, and claims or charge level data.A demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into clear, strategic insights for executive audiences.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.A proactive, intellectually curious mindset and comfort working independently on highly visible, recurring deliverables.A collaborative, low ego approach and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, cross functional environment.Why Join Advanced SurgeryAdvanced Surgery is a high performing, growth oriented business within Baxter, known for strong leadership support, best in class products, and a culture that values partnership, integrity, and impact. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $152,000 - $209,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
