Position Responsibilities

Teachers will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons aligned with the Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Integrate Biblical principles and Christian values into daily instruction.
• Utilize student assessment data, including i-Ready and classroom assessments, to guide instruction.
• Collaborate with administration and fellow teachers to improve student achievement.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress and student behavior.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, attendance, grades, and student records.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and required trainings.
• Foster a classroom culture built on respect, responsibility, integrity, and kindness.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (required)
• Florida Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification (preferred)
• Experience teaching elementary or middle school students
• Strong classroom management skills
• Knowledge of the Florida B.E.S.T. Standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A passion for Christian education and student success
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with i-Ready, HMH, Renaissance, or similar instructional programs
• Experience using student data to drive instruction
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and small-group teaching
• Technology proficiency with Google Workspace for Education
