Senior Publications Specialist
AtriCure
AtriCure seeks a Senior Publications Specialist to author and review scientific abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for peer-reviewed journals and medical conferences. The role supports the Scientific Affairs department, collaborating across marketing, regulatory, and R&D teams to advance publication strategies for atrial fibrillation and cardiac device technologies.
Responsibilities
- Author and review abstracts and manuscripts for scientific journals and medical conferences
- Develop podium presentations and posters for global medical meetings
- Maintain congress calendars and journal databases; coordinate publication review committees
- Create literature reviews and scientific documents for cross-functional teams
- Stay current with treatment guidelines and developments in atrial fibrillation and cardiac therapies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years medical writing experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years
- Understanding of scientific research methodologies and study design
- Knowledge of medical device products and regulatory/publication standards
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Ability to work under fast-paced conditions with multiple priorities
