Business Development Manager - Renewables (Midwest) - Kansas City, MO

Hubbell is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the Renewable Energy market. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind strategic partnerships with Project Owners, contractors, integrators, and EPC firms. You’ll influence product specifications, open new market opportunities, and empower field sales with your technical expertise. If you have a strong background in the renewable or electrical markets, sharp business acumen, and thrive on building relationships, this is your chance to make an impact. Establish and strengthen partnerships with top tier owners, engineering firms and EPC’s in the North Central region. Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Working closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align strategies and improve sales processes. Developing and managing sales budgets, forecasting sales projections, and managing expenses to optimize profitability. Keeping up with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify Opportunities or potential threats to Hubbell’s sales success. Support field sales with technical expertise, product training, and educational demonstrations. Track key projects from inception to completion using Salesforce and Power BI. Stay current with industry standards and communicate updates to the sales team. Work with owner/developers and engineering firms to secure Hubbell product specifications in new designs and projects. Plan and execute strategic contractor events, regional meetings, and industry trade shows. What will help you thrive in this role? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Communications (preferred). Experience in electrical or renewable markets (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Power BI. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
