In-house Equipment Technician

In-house Equipment Technician Job ID: IET-NY Location: Oceanside NY area Salary: $25 / hour + full benefits Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm The primary role of the In-house Technician is to prepare equipment and machinery for shipment and ensure returned machines are restored to shippable condition. Responsibilities include programming, customizing, modifying, and updating new equipment, as well as evaluating, identifying required parts, ordering, and repairing used or damaged machines. Responsibilities Coordinate equipment orders and sequence jobs to meet the outbound shipping schedule. Test, diagnose, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software issues on equipment. Inspect returned, damaged, or used machines, order required parts, and restore units to sale-ready condition. Follow standard operating procedures. Stay current on product updates, system changes, and technical documentation. Escalate inconclusive or critical repair problems to the engineering department for advanced analysis. Qualifications 2+ years of experience with equipment repair –or- appliance repair –or- HVAC repair Hands on electrical troubleshooting required Electrical circuitry understanding Must be able to read schematics Mechanical troubleshooting Must be able to use a Multimeter, hand and power tools Must have a car and ability to commute to location each day (no bus route) Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening Benefits Comprehensive health benefits package including medical and dental plans as well as 401(k) and so much more. #J-18808-Ljbffr Black-Peak Inc.
