We are currently looking for a Full Time Billing Specialist to join our Family Assistance Business Office team located at the Douglas H. Johnston Building working.

Summary: Assists the Business Manager in the operation of all billing processes and systems within Education for Child Development and Youth Services programs.

Responsibilities:

• Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
• Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
• Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types - Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment - Maintains and promotes professionalism - Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics - Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
• Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
• Performs all other duties as assigned
• Perform detailed tasks and functions regarding billing to assure an accurate and timely flow of deposits and invoices
• Bills and maintains payment records for all revenue generating programs, including but not limited to the Child Development Centers, Sick Child Care, After School, School Age Summer/School Breaks, Martial Arts, and Chickasaw Youth Clubs at all program locations
• Reviews and sends monthly statements and weekly reminders to private pay accounts, in order to maintain current account status
• Prepares cash deposits for courier pickup and all electronic check deposits to the appropriate account. Ensures that all deposit documentation is send to headquarters finance
• Completes payroll forms accurately and obtaining signatures from payer, to ensure that the payroll deduction processes and the account maintains a current balance
• Coordinate billing for participants of childcare assistance programs. Prepare and submit appropriate documentation or forms for reimbursement
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding childcare billing and maintains an accurate record of correspondence. Keep open and positive communication with parents/guardians
• Review past due inactive accounts and update information, as needed. Make contact with payers to arrange payment agreements, according to established policies
• Prepare and mail payment summaries for a given period, or as requested to payers, to document payments made for child care services or other programs
• Maintains proper coordination will all relevant personnel with Treasury, Education and Youth Services to assure continuity and integrity of business functions
• Prepares reports as needed or requested

Skills:

• Basic Computer skills

Experience:

• 3 years directly related experience

Education:

• Bachelors of Arts

Credentials:

• Pass general background check
• Standard Driver's License

Training:
