Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT in the HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT GROUP, PROFESSIONAL RECRUITMENT OFFICE of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Before applying, you are encouraged to learn more about federal human resources careers by visiting the HR Career Compass at: Responsibilities You will assist in examining, placement, and staffing activities by screening resumes and providing information to the public, and provide support to the Veterans Employment, Professional Recruiting, and/or other Miscellaneous Employment programs. You will be responsible for ensuring proper procedures were followed in making job offers or assisting with recruit packages. You will properly use Onboarding Manager and accurately identify required forms to bring new hires aboard in a timely and effective manner and work with OCHR-NE staff to resolve issues and answer questions involving various personnel actions. You will Utilizes computer programs, such as DCPDS, Onboarding Manager, E-Verify, Civilian Workflow Automation tool, and Talent Acquisition Portal to assist with HR functions. You will implement customer support for site visit travel i.e. visit request/coordination, order preparation, itinerary, voucher processing, amendments. You will assist the HR Specialist in site briefs for potential candidates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications DG-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04/05) grade level or (DG-02) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using data gathering methods, such as surveys, questionnaires, or reviewing records, to collect information; 2) Documenting and ensuring proper human resources policies, procedures, rules and regulations are followed; 3) Coordinating travel for an organization, including itineraries, travel amendments, and reimbursement; 4) Assisting with organizational recruitment, including coordinating interviews and recruitment events. DG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05/06) grade level or (DG-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using data gathering methods, such as surveys, questionnaires, or reviewing records, to collect information; 2) Documenting the conditions of management or program operations and recommending improvements; 3) Implementing customer support for site travel i.e. visit coordination, order preparation, itinerary, voucher processing, and amendments; 4) Assembling site visit and interview packages for Career Fairs or other recruiting events. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: DG-03: 1 year equivalent to at least GS-04 OR 4 years above high school A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
