As a Progressive Care (Acute Care Step-down) Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital, you'll coordinate nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. In Progressive Care, there are opportunities for RNs to gain leadership experience through Preceptor, Clinical Practice Leader, Relief Charge and Quality Improvement roles. Qualifications:

Academic Preparation: *Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO) *Minimum ADN preparation Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required. *Required Certification from either AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross *BLS: All RN roles *ACLS: Emergency Department, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room *NRP: Family Birthing Center, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Care *PALS: Children Services, Cardiovascular Lab, Emergency Department, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room Updated: 3/15/26
