Regional Sales Director - UE Sports Specialization

Zimmer Biomet

Regional Sales Director role at Zimmer Biomet responsible for driving sales performance and revenue growth across a defined geography within the orthopedic medical device sector. This position leads field execution of commercial strategy, manages sales teams, and develops strategic relationships with key accounts and surgeons.

Responsibilities

Build and execute regional sales plans aligned with national and territory goals
Develop and coach Team Leads and field representatives through regular feedback and structured development
Recruit, retain, and manage top sales talent while assessing capability gaps and team structure
Develop strategic relationships with high-value surgeons and key accounts
Monitor sales funnel health and drive quota attainment through performance management and territory optimization

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
Minimum 7+ years medical device sales experience with 3+ years in sales leadership
Extensive orthopedic knowledge including Zimmer Biomet and competitor products
Proven ability to develop, coach, and retain sales talent
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clinical acumen
Expert communication and influence skills across internal and external stakeholders
Experience leading distributed teams in competitive markets
